INGENERIC announces change in Management Team
INGENERIC announces a change in its management team: Dr. Olaf Rübenach, co-founder of the company, will leave the company on June 30, 2023, to take on a new professional challenge within the parent company TRUMPF. With the start of the new fiscal year, Dr. Rübenach will bring his expertise and commitment to TRUMPF Laser Schramberg – and will thus remain part of the TRUMPF family despite a change in the company. Dr. Stefan Hambücker, also a co-founder of INGENERIC, will assume sole management of the company as of July 1, 2023.
INGENERIC was founded in 2001 as a spin-off from the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology and has since developed into one of the world’s leading manufacturers of microlenses and lens arrays. The company, headquartered in Baesweiler, Germany, currently employs more than 100 people.
The outgoing Managing Director, Olaf Rübenach, has made a significant contribution to INGENERIC’s success since the company was founded and leaves behind a solid foundation for further growth. After more than 20 years, he looks back with satisfaction on his time at INGENERIC and expresses his happiness with the company’s growth to date:

Stefan Hambücker, who will assume sole responsibility on the Managing Board on July 1, 2023, thanks Olaf Rübenach for his valuable contribution to business development:
