INGENERIC is running!
Aachen, October 5, 2017. This year, a team of INGENERIC running enthusiasts participated for the first time in the “Aachen Company Run”.
On September 29 the “Aachen Company Run” (Aachener Firmenlauf) took place already for the sixth time, and this time, INGENERIC was also represented with two teams and a very motivated fan club. Four runners started on Friday afternoon at pleasant temperatures and autumn sun and arrived proudly after 4.8 km at the finish line. Five other runners had even registered for the longer distance with 9.6 km and could also reach the goal successfully – also thanks to the supporting and cheering of the colleagues who have travelled with us.
The primary focus of the event is the non-profit idea: From the entry fee of a total of 7,000 participants and thanks to numerous sponsors, selected local non-profit organizations are supported. For the participating companies the fun and the presentation of the company as a team are important – of course besides the sportive activities at the competition.
Our fans and participants agreed at the end of the event: Next year we will again take part as INGENERIC team and until then we will continue to train and run.
