Precision Micro-Optics for Laser Bars and High-Power Diode Lasers
Our Slow-Axis Collimators (SACs), manufactured from high-quality optical glass, are specifically designed for collimating the slow axis of laser bars and multi-emitter diode lasers. They provide uniform and efficient beam shaping across multiple emitters and, together with FAC optics, form the foundation of high-performance optical systems and beam-shaping solutions.
SAC arrays combine aspherically optimized lens profiles, precision manufacturing, exceptional accuracy and uniformity, and tight tolerances to ensure maximum efficiency, stability, and reproducibility in industrial high-power applications.
Laser bars and multi-emitter diode modules produce highly divergent beam profiles that cannot be used efficiently without precise collimation. Our SACs correct the slow-axis divergence across all emitters – for consistent, homogeneous, and robust beam characteristics.

Our cylindrical lens arrays consist of precisely aligned cylindrical optics and enable targeted beam profile manipulation along a single axis or across multiple axes. They are the ideal solution when standard SACs do not meet the requirements for emitter pitch, aperture, or beam-shaping performance.
Applications
Benefits
The Double SAC combines two slow-axis collimators to achieve two-stage optical correction. This design is used in applications where a single SAC element cannot provide the required level of divergence reduction or beam uniformity. Double SAC systems extend the capabilities of conventional SAC optics, enabling even more precise control of the slow axis.
Applications
Benefits:
Our manufacturing process offers numerous advantages:
The result is micro-optics and lens arrays that offer series-production quality, stability, and excellent reproducibility.
We maintain strict quality standards.
Through application-specific measurements under conditions equivalent to the intended use of the optic, we ensure that no deviations occur between characterization and real-world operation. Combined with our reliable manufacturing technology, this enables us to consistently deliver optics with outstanding collimation performance.
